Avoid cotton clothing as it can become heavy and uncomfortable when wet. It&#8217;s also a good idea to wear a hat\/cap, sunglasses and sunscreen. For colder days, wear some layers so you can regulate your temperature. You may get quite warm from the physical workout.<\/p>\n<p>For first time paddlers, or anyone paddling on a cold day we recommend that you bring an extra set of clothes for change in case you fall in the water.<\/p>\n<p>You get in and out of the kayaks in the water. If you prefer not to be barefoot you should bring a pair of beach shoes or sandals that you can use in the water.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=&#8221;How much luggage will fit in the kayak and how should I pack it?&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; open=&#8221;off&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>Our kayaks have two storage compartments that can hold a small backpack and\/or some small to medium size dry bags. We recommend packing only what you need for your trip and distribute it in several smaller bags if needed. It&#8217;s a good idea to pack your gear in waterproof bags of some sort.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=&#8221;Will I fit in the kayak?&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; open=&#8221;off&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>Our kayaks should fit most adults between 160 cm and 190 cm and weighing between 55 and 90 kg. The width of the cockpit chair is 44 cm. The cockpit opening is around 47x86cm.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any concerns about fitting into a sea kayak, please let us know and we will be happy to assist you. Most often they use blank ammunition, but at specific times they may shoot live rounds.
